Flexport Shanghai office: 3300 square meters of logistics technology aesthetic space
The Flexport Shanghai office is built by the general contractor Aegis Architecture | Jingjun Architecture, covering an area of 3300 square meters and located in Shanghai, China. As a multinational supply chain management and logistics company based in the United States, Flexport focuses on order management, trade financing, insurance, freight forwarding, and customs declaration. Its software can integrate and connect ERP data from various participating companies in the supply chain, achieving simplified cargo information management and freight processing processes. The office space created by the UNION design team not only reflects Flexport's vibrant corporate culture, but also showcases its logistics technology core through innovative design.
Flexible and diverse office environment: seamless integration of functionality and socialization
The front desk area, as the core hub, adopts a 3-meter x 3-meter revolving door design, which can flexibly connect the training room, game area, and restaurant, forming a multifunctional composite space. This flexible and diverse office environment design not only meets daily office needs, but also quickly transforms into a venue for large company gatherings and annual meetings, reflecting the multifunctional adaptability of modern office spaces.
In terms of spatial layout, conference spaces of different sizes are scattered throughout, and each conference room is equipped with exclusive color schemes and pattern designs. The designer drew inspiration from Shanghai Shikumen architecture and cleverly integrated local cultural essence and historical elements through customized wall graphics, creating an office environment that combines international perspectives with local cultural characteristics.
Logistics elements and customized furniture: spatial narrative of brand genes
The design team deeply integrates the characteristics of the logistics industry into spatial aesthetics, inspired by shipping routes and cargo maps. Recycled containers are transformed into unique design elements, becoming the visual focus to showcase the brand's genes. Customized office furniture is closely integrated with spatial functionality, meeting practical needs while enhancing the narrative of the space.
The entire office space creates a vibrant atmosphere with a bright and lively tone, with the potential to expand to one or even two floors in the future, reserving growth space for the sustainable development of corporate culture. The UNION design team innovatively integrates logistics technology elements with Shanghai style cultural symbols, making the Flexport Shanghai office a model office environment that inspires collaboration, innovation, and growth.
