New paradigm of technology office in Jiaozhi commercial district

In the Jiaozhi commercial district of Chengdu, China, a 4610 square meter office space is redefining the working environment of technology enterprises. The Chengdu headquarters of Carson Technology (SCT), jointly designed by Kelen Wang Chunyao and Poker Rongxing, is based on a minimalist industrial style, integrating collaboration and diverse concepts into the spatial texture, and achieving a scene revolution in the office environment through restrained design language.

Front Desk: International Narrative with Minimalist Lines

Pushing open the glass door, the front hall establishes the spatial tone with a dialogue between light and shadow. The transparent interface composed of the entire lightbox and U-shaped glass, combined with the minimalist ceiling design, seamlessly integrates natural light and artificial lighting. The neutral toned floor and walls extend with the most restrained lines, while the glass handrail staircase on the right collides with the marble staircase to maintain the rational characteristics of technology enterprises and dissolve the oppressive feeling of traditional office spaces through transparency. There are no extra decorations here, but the texture of the material itself conveys an international aesthetic proposition.

Coffee Bar: A Multi functional Third Space

The coffee bar behind the front hall has achieved a triple fold function of "reception leisure collaboration". The wood grain art paint wall and green plants form a natural texture, and the curved staircase seats are matched with soft lighting, which not only meets the etiquette needs of visitor reception, but also provides an informal communication scene for employees. The transparent lighting maintains a visual lightness in the space, while the setting of the bar area integrates tea and coffee services into daily life, allowing collaboration to occur naturally in a relaxed atmosphere.

Open Office Area: A Creative Engine for Vibrant Collision

The mixed design of bare ceiling and partial suspended ceiling creates a rough and delicate balance of industrial style in the open office area. The orange and green color accents break the dullness of neutral tones, and 120 flexible workstations achieve free recombination through modular combination. Specially designed negotiation area, silent telephone room, and standing workbench, suitable for diverse office needs such as focused work, group discussions, and temporary meetings. There is no fixed concept of "grid space" here, instead it is an elastic space that encourages fluid collaboration.

Space design pays special attention to stimulating team vitality through architectural elements, such as the wave shaped ceiling used in the large conference room, which breaks the traditional square pattern of office space with flowing curves. The dynamic changes of light and shadow generated by the curved surface not only enhance the visual tension of the space, but also imply the innovative thinking and dynamic collaboration mode required by technology enterprises.

Landscape multifunctional area: the place where scene revolution occurs

The landscape strip set along the window has become the most creative "social hub" in the space. Six major functional modules are organically connected here: the movable conference table supports impromptu discussions, the soundproof booth ensures private communication, the stepped open seating area incorporates the landscape outside the window into the work view, the sliding whiteboard wall becomes a canvas for inspiration collision, and the embedded TV realizes information synchronization and remote collaboration. Each scene permeates and becomes independent through the visual corridor: dedicated workers can think deeply in the soundproof booth, creative teams can burst into inspiration in front of the whiteboard wall, cross departmental collaboration can be efficiently promoted in the conference table area, and the setting of the leisure bar allows informal communication to naturally occur - this seamless switching of diverse scenes is the best carrier of the collaborative culture of technology enterprises.

Conference Room Group: Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Collaborative Containers

The 12 conference rooms distributed within two levels of space form a complete collaboration matrix. The wavy ceiling of the large conference room breaks the rigidity of the square space through curves, while the small discussion room uses a combination of sound-absorbing cotton and glass partitions to ensure acoustic privacy while maintaining transparency. The unified minimalist style hides subtle changes in details: some use data visualization walls to enhance technological attributes, while others use writable glass enclosures to stimulate creativity, jointly serving the full process collaboration needs from brainstorming to decision implementation.

Design Philosophy: Less is More, Empowering Collaboration

The success of this space lies in the use of a minimalist industrial style "subtraction" to achieve the "addition" of office experience. Principal designer Kelen Wang Chunyao emphasized, "We have removed all non essential elements and only retained the spatial genes that promote collaboration." When bare ceiling pipelines are juxtaposed with exquisite furniture, and when open areas and private corners coexist in balance, the 4610 square meter space is no longer just a container for office furniture, but has become a "third productivity" that inspires innovation vitality and accelerates technological development. From creative collision to decision-making implementation, from individual focus to team collaboration, every spatial node is injecting momentum into technological development - this may be the new annotation given to office design by Chengdu, an innovative city.
